Vic: Daniel doesn't visit us here very often.
RLF isn't HALF the minefield the Nightwish-forum is, really. In fact, most people are quite nice. Actually, all of them are.
Also, we're still talking about Melodifestivalen - I guess? I mean, the whole "OMG does he have braces???" was just a sidestep that doesn't really
need its own thread..
Frantyk is keeping us on track just fine.
I agree that a translation would be welcome.

Oh noes! Indeed these are some braces
That gap should not to go. He was supposed to keep it so we can make fun of him for many years to come.
Oh well
I fear that gap was his source of creativity :(
OK, since you are soooooo judgmental on "new" PoS, and sounding very cocky at the same time, I was actually so bored that I gave a couple of listens
to your own band Etelantulet on myspace... And I find it rather boring, dull and FORCED...and done so many times before. So, I don't know which is
YOUR source of creativity but go visit a doctor and have it surgically removed since it doesn't do you any good. You don't like new path they've
chosen to walk and that's OK, I don't have a slightest problem with that. Saying it once would be quite enough. I'll probably prefer RL or BE or TPE
over Road Salt but I'll still probably like it very much.
See, I KNOW I don't have too much to offer to ART, so I don't try to mimic art, I don't try to recreate or force it. You are made a musician, but you
are born an artist. So I'm just having fun with playing music. But that's just me...
1. I didn't have a part in the writing/recording of the music on myspace. I never liked playing the old music for those reasons you stated :)
2. The band is long defunct, though we actually wrote some pretty cool music but never recorded it...
3. It was a joke (i had braces too, hence why i'm so beautiful, but not very creative :()

Daniel is having his gap removed because he foresaw that it would generate pointless arguments like this one.

Does "ruka" means "rookie" or something like that?
According to Aftonbladet the total number of votes (telephone & SMS) was: 446 411, so PoS could collect about 60000 of them... :)

If it's the same word as the Norwegian "ruke" it means a big pile of poo.

I think he made a typo. "Kruka" (pot) makes more sense.
Well, not really, but it's kind of an idiomatic expression.
I think he mis-uses it, though. It usually means "coward" (apparently a reference to Greek mythology; Heracles' cousin, the king who ordered him
around on his 12 wonders, hid in a large pot when Heracles came home with an infamously dreaded boar). He may have mixed it up with "kratta" (rake
(garden implement)), which in swedish is slang for someone who's just plain bad. (Not to be confused with how "rake" is used in English, to refer to
the usual Harlequin/Barnes & Noble male protagonist.)

I thought the DG-braces topic was slightly interesting, and I don't think it really brought anything off-topic. It was just a few posts.
My thoughts on the song itself: I love it, and it has been stuck in my head for the past 24 hours since I first heard it. I agree that it does seem
a bit watered-down. To be honest, when Daniel moves to perform a song like this, it's usually even more sparse than it is during this: he
obviously had to compress some of the silence, and maybe delete something here and there, in order to cram it into 3 minutes.
On that topic: 3-minute limits are absolute crap. You can't let an artist really express by applying such limits. Sure, you can have good things
come out, but some ideas need time to develop!

There was a time when I actually had internet-friends there :p Also - I don't hate the vocalist, I dislike her voice and think she's an average

Doesn't visit us very often or doesn't visit us at all?
Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.
Love delights and glorifies in giving, not receiving.

Do not let him fool you. He is an internet addict. And a chronic Halo player.

Just to annoy Vic further, is he wearing contact lenses too? Or is that the real colour of his eyes?
(yeah, I've seen him up close, but don't remember that fluorescent blue glow)

I also thought those were contacts. It may be his true eye color, but there was definitely some emphasis going on, which leads me to lenses.
